PUEBLO — The Ram Truck brand is collecting donations for The Center Toward Self-Reliance’s Food Pantry in the bed of a Ram Truck pickup. The "Stack the Back" event is taking place all weekend long and you can help those in need.

Jaclyn Gest with Ram Trucks says it's a great opportunity to help people, " Ram trucks thinks it is important to give back to the community so that is kind of our way to give some support to those less fortunate and need a little extra."

The following items are suggestions as the Pantry assists households with food packages, personal hygiene bags and/or household items. (*Note, items that need refrigeration before opening cannot be accepted)

• Beans, rice, pasta or canned meats

• Boxed or canned meals

• Variety of canned or boxed items such as granola bars/snack bars or crackers etc.

• Breakfast items such as cereal or oatmeal etc.

• Personal hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste etc.

• Household items such as detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning products.

Ram Truck brand will deliver donations to The Center Toward Self-Reliance’s Food Pantry on Tuesday, September 3rd. While you're dropping off your items, you can take a test drive in a new Ram truck and even try out the obstacle course.
