COLORADO SPRINGS — Trace Church in Colorado Springs can't hold normal service this Easter weekend due to coronavirus, but they still found a creative way to connect with members.
Saturday, the church passed out Easter gift bags full of all kinds of special treats.
The church said it's just one way to stay in contact with members at a time when they can't actually be together.
"We're celebrating Easter as a church. Right now we're having to practice social distancing, and we understand that, but now is also a great time for families to interact with each other and so we wanted to create some bags for our families here at Trace and our people here at Trace. We also wanted to support some of our local businesses." Pastor Josiah Weece said.
