AIR FORCE ACADEMY — A special reading room at the Air Force Academy is offering cadets a safe space for open discussion.

The Diversity and Inclusion Reading Room contains a specially curated selection of books to help cadets broaden their understanding and explore the issues involved in diversity, inclusion, and justice.

"I just think this was a natural synergy of what's being taught in the classroom and how the library can partner in those endeavors to bring that intellectual depth that the cadets really need after they graduate and working with a diverse group" Diane Klare, Associate Dean & Library Director said.

The reading room opened last spring. The Academy says they plan to add more books over time.
