FORT CARSON — Officials at Fort Carson confirm there is a small wildland fire burning at a training range on post.
A spokesperson for the base says the fire is currently estimated at 20 acres, and no structures are in danger.
Fort Carson Fire Department is working to contain the fire, and has not requested any outside assistance.
Smoke is visible in the Fountain area, and likely will be for the rest of the afternoon.
