COLORADO SPRINGS — Shuttle service in the Colorado Springs Airport long-term parking lot will resume on October 1. Service was temporarily suspended earlier this year due to COVID-19.
“As we see a rise in travelers and we enter into the fall and winter months, we recognized a need for our travelers to utilize Republic Parking’s shuttle service,” said Greg Phillips, Director of Aviation at COS.
The shuttle will operate on a limited schedule and amended service. The shuttle schedule will start prior to the first flight of the day through the last flight of the day. At this time pick-up and drop-off will only take place at shuttle stops 1, 2, and 4. This is a change from the previous protocol of car-to-terminal service.
Passenger and driver safety is the number one priority on the shuttle buses. Travelers can expect to see social distancing markers and hand-sanitizer on the vehicles. Additionally, masks will be required for all users.
