FOUNTAIN — Two men believed to be responsible for a shooting Thursday night in Fountain were later found at a Colorado Springs hospital.
Officers were called to Metcalfe Park around 7:30 after a shots fired report.
Officers arrived within about a minute but the suspects had already left the area. Witnesses said they saw two males shooting at each other.
Around 8:25 Thursday Fountain Police were informed that two gunshot victims arrived at a local hospital.
Fountain PD says those two are believed to be involved in the incident at Metcalfe Park.
Their names have not been released. This investigation is ongoing, but Fountain PD says there is no threat to the public.
