ROUTT COUNTY — A rockslide closed both directions of U.S. Highway 40 Sunday afternoon.

The slide occurred around 1 p.m. near mile marker 116 east of the Yampa Valley Regional Airport near Steamboat Springs.

No injuries have been reported.

Traffic is being detoured onto County Road 27 to County Road 33.

There is no estimated time on when the highway will reopen.
