PUEBLO COUNTY — The fight against illegal dumping in Pueblo County has risen to a new level.
The Pueblo City County Trash Task Force told News 5 that it now has 12 active cameras placed at illegal dumping hot spots around Pueblo.
"We are just excited about the progress we are able to make. Things were temporarily postponed for a bit because of COVDI-19 but now being able to see the cameras going up and the progress being made it is very exciting and we are hitting the ground running again," Ryan Tessman with task force said.
So far, the task force has caught 15 people illegally dumping since the beginning of the year.
