PUEBLO — Students in Pueblo are preparing for cyber security threats.

Members of CSU Pueblo's Cyber Security Education and Research Team trained students across Pueblo County Friday.

Lessons included learning how to write and solve codes, password cracking, and other techniques that could help to prevent cyber threats.

"I really hope this prepares me as a person. I am thinking about doing military things which would be stopping terrorists and maybe even trying to make sure that our voting systems don't get messed with," said Annalea Degrado, a student at Pueblo Centennial High School.

Centennial, Pueblo West, and Pueblo County were among the schools that took part in the training.
