PUEBLO — A charter school in Pueblo is receiving a prestigious award.
Goal Academy High School has been recognized as a showcase school by Microsoft.
The school was picked for its teaching methods and using technology to prepare students for jobs after school.
"It is just a high energy group. They are innovative, they are extremely caring about our students and very determined to make certain our students succeed," said Dr. Constance Jones.
With earning this recognition, the academy CEO says Microsoft will send new products for the school to use.
Less than 300 schools in the US have been selected as shocase schools.
