PUEBLO — Pueblo School District 70 is asking voters to approve a ballot measure this November to use $75 million to improve buildings, facilities and other infrastructure in the district.
A similar measure was shot down by voters last year, but the Superintendent for the district said there is a difference to this measure.
"I think the difference is, last year we were asking voters for a tax increase to pay, for this year it is tax neutral, so taxes will not be increased as a result," said Ed Smith.
Editor's note: A prior version of this story incorrectly stated a tax increase is associated with this ballot measure.
