Pueblo Police investigating homeless man's death as homicide

PUEBLO — The Pueblo Police Department is investigating a homeless man's death as a homicide after finding him in the driveway of a business Wednesday.

The department responded around 7:20 p.m. after receiving calls of a man in the intersection of City Center Drive and Chester Avenue.

Following an initial investigation, officers learned the man, who was homeless and known to reside along Fountain Creek, was injured and collapsed in the driveway where he died.

The department said this death is being investigated as a homicide and an autopsy will determine cause of death.
