PUEBLO — The Pueblo Police Department caught one burglary suspect after she was left behind by her possible accomplice early Thursday morning.
Officers were alerted about a possible burglary when a neighbor reported seeing a man and woman at a home on Monument Avenue.
Police said they caught the woman who was left behind by the man. She gave officers the wrong name, but officers said they were about to identify her using a portable fingerprint scanner.
PPD said she had a felony no-bond warrant out of the Department of Corrections Fugitive Unit.
Officers took her to the hospital because she said she had swallowed "a bunch of drugs" as the cops were arriving.
PPD said once she is out of the hospital she will be booked for the warrant and burglary charges.
