PUEBLO — Pueblo police are investigating after shots were fired early Saturday morning.
At 4:10 a.m. Saturday morning, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Van Buren on reports of a loud party and shots fired.
When one officer arrived, numerous people were in the street. They were detained at gun point until more officers came to help.
According to Pueblo police, a shot had been fired into the ceiling of the home and the resident had been hit in the head with a bottle, but not seriously injured. Officers founds two shell casings in the street, but they didn't find anyone or anything that had been hit.
Police say one man on scene was so intoxicated that he had to be taken to the hospital before he was taken to jail. He had three active warrants out for his arrest.
