PUEBLO — Visitors could soon have a place to use marijuana in Pueblo.

Mayor Nick Gradisar is having the city research on what they can do to have marijuana hospitality businesses.

According to Mayor Gradisar visitors, who buy marijuana in Pueblo, have been asking where they can use marijuana products. However, one business owner says this is not a good idea.

"I think it really does just take away from the ability for families to go out and even individuals to go out and really enjoy the clean air that we have in Pueblo and not have to deal with that element of what they are trying to bring in," said business owner Lee Gladney.

"We don't want them using it in their cars and using it in public, so creating places where they can go that are controlled, regulated, licensed and taxed makes some sense looking at it originally," said Pueblo Mayor Nick Gradisar.

Right now Mayor Gradisar has his legal department exploring the options and new laws regarding marijuana hospitality rooms.
