PUEBLO — The City of Pueblo wants to continue its commitment of moving towards renewable energy.
Through a partnership with Black Hills Energy and a grant from the state, the city hopes to put three electric vehicle charging stations in downtown.
"So if we are going to be encouraging people to invest in electric vehicles, we have to have the charging stations so that they will have the power to generate their vehicles," said City Council President, Dennis Flores.
Pueblo City Council will have to agree to this plan. A vote is set to happen sometime in the near future.
