Pueblo group in favor of starting own utility to hold rally before next city council meeting

PUEBLO — The group, "Bring Power Home 2020" will hold a rally Monday ahead of the Pueblo City Council's next meeting.

The group is urging the council to vote down a deal to keep Black Hills Energy and instead, have the city start its own utility.

The final presentation of the ordinance and a vote are scheduled for Monday's meeting.

The rally starts at 5 p.m. at city hall. The city council meeting starts at 7 p.m.
