PUEBLO — Pueblo crime fighting teams are working together to get some important tools.

Pueblo Police, the Sheriff's Office, and the District Attorney want a federal grant to buy new computers, tracking technology, chasing equipment, and other pieces of technology.

The grant is worth a little of $99,000.

"Well, we are always trying to find a better way to do our job in a safer, more efficient way. Some of these pursuit technologies there we're deploying are going to be safer for the community and safer for the officers," said Deputy Chief Michael Bennett.

If the agencies get the money, they hope to be using their new equipment by October.
