PUEBLO — Pueblo Community College held a 9/11 tribute climb at its amphitheater Wednesday.
Students from the college's Fire Academy walked the stairs 110 times to symbolize the 110 stories of the World Trade Center towers.
"It is important to everybody right? It was a national tragedy and it is important to me because the way we responded to it. We were all united, we jumped in and did everything we could to help and I just want to show respect to those before me," Fire Academy student Brian Nelson said.
This was the eighth year the college has hosted the tribute.
