PUEBLO — A new event is set to come to the Home of Heroes.
The Pueblo Classic is set for April 24 and 25.
The event is being hosted by the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference. It was planned or last year but was canceled because of the pandemic.
"It's fantastic. It will be the kickoff event for what will be hopefully an eventful summer season. Having this bike race here will hopefully be the first of many events that we will have in downtown Pueblo this summer," Mayor Nick Gradisar said.
The City of Pueblo is also offering a $1,000 prize for best poster design for the event.
The entry form can be found on the Pueblo Arts Alliance web page.
