PUEBLO — Between school work and jobs, being a college student can be difficult.
But a few ladies from the Primrose Retirement Community in Pueblo are looking to brighten some students' days.
The community held a day for residents to perform random acts of kindness by offering gifts to students at Pueblo Community College.
"What made us want to start this is is the fact that is keeping the residence fresh and in touch with their community," said activities director Terri Martinez.
Students on the receiving end say it made for a nice change of pace.
"It's refreshing because you know that you create something to lighten somebody's day lighten their load, even though it's just a little random goodies and the gift card we could line up their load more than you know," said student Amanda Henson.
Students received candy, snacks, and an Amazon gift card.
