CANON CITY — A popular spot in Canon City is about to reopen.
Four Mile Cinema has been closed the past couple of months due to COVID-19 but the owner is set to reopen this Friday at 3 p.m.
The opening comes after Fremont County's variance for theaters was approved last week.
The owner said they are following COVID-19 protocols like separating groups, sanitizing, and social distancing.
"We are super excited to be reopen just to offer some movies. just to offer something for some of these kids and families to do. I mean it may not be the movies they want to see but we are taking suggestions and I am looking into getting the things that they want," Co-owner Linda Epperson said.
When the theater opens, seven movies will be shown. They'll be classics like the original Jurassic Park, Shrek, and Jaws. Tickets will also be discounted.
