COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs Police recovered stolen cell phones after suspects broke into a business and left the items in an unoccupied car early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to a burglary in progress at 3:29 a.m. at the 5800 block of Barnes Road.

CSPD said they located a possible suspect vehicle, which fled from the police.

Officers later found the vehicle abandoned by the suspects and collected the stolen property from the car.

CSPD said the suspects were not located and they did not get a description.
