ARVADA — A naked man described by police as being under the influence of drugs was arrested after entering multiple homes in Arvada Saturday morning.

The man, who has yet to be identified, was taken into custody around 10:30 a.m. after a brief standoff at a home in the 6500 block of DeFrame Street.

A woman inside the DeFrame Street home called police after the naked suspect wandered inside, according to the Arvada Police Department.

When officers arrived on scene, the man initially refused to come out of the house, at one point yelling at cops from the home’s front door. But officers were able to grab the suspect after he stepped outside, according to police.

He had entered at least two other homes before he was apprehended at the third location, police said.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital and then transported to the Jefferson County Jail.

A booking photo and possible charges against the suspect were not immediately available.
