COLORADO SPRINGS — Since Governor Polis declared a state of emergency back in March, the Pikes Peak Emergency Relief Fund has raised more than $1 million to help families in El Paso and Teller Counties during the pandemic.

"That continues to be food, rent assistance, housing, utilities, other bills that people have at this time," Lori Bellingham with the Pikes Peak Community Foundation said.

54 partner organizations are helping to distribute the money.
