COLORADO SPRINGS — Pikes Peak Community College held several events for Veterans Day Monday.
Including in the events was a wreath ceremony at the Centennial Campus.
The college has a strong veteran presence as many of their students are taking advantage of programs to help them transition into civilian life.
"It's a stepping stone to help us further our education beyond, cause a lot of us are totally lost, and need that direction of where to go," said Justin Clark, US Air Force retired.
PPCC is planning activities for veterans throughout the week.
