PUEBLO — The Pueblo Police Department is looking for a driver who hit a light pole that "grazed" a pedestrian early Thursday morning.
Police said the man was walking down Lake Avenue near Nevada Avenue when a car hopped onto the curb, hit the light pole and continued driving without slowing down. Officers said the pedestrian was injured, but the light pole did scrape the man's leg when it bounced off the ground.
The car was an older model, dark "military-style" Jeep, according to the pedestrian. Police said the Jeep has a winch on the front and a broken light.
Anyone with information on the vehicle or driver is asked to call the department at (719) 553-2502.
