COLORADO SPRINGS — Are you taking steps to stay safe during this pandemic? The tourism information center Visit Colorado Springs (COS) wants to recognize you for your efforts with some discounts and deals.

All you have to do is take the "Peak of Safety Pledge" online (you can find it here: https://www.visitcos.com/coronavirus-colorado-springs/peak-of-safety-pledge/)

The pledge is a way to make sure folks who live in Colorado Springs and folks who want to visit are being as safe as possible while still enjoying everything the city has to offer.

On the website, you'll find a masked Bigfoot with a breakdown of that pledge, which is a promise to do the following:

  • Wash your hands often
  • Wear a face covering
  • Follow social distancing
  • Stay home if you're sick

To sign the pledge, you'll need to fill out some details like your name and email, and then click "Take the Pledge."

A spokesperson for Visit COS said the discount and deals associated with the pledge will likely be sent out via email within the next couple of weeks once the details are worked out with their business partners. They expect to have variety of discounts on different hotels, restaurants, attractions, and more. These deals will be sent out in a "passport" format, much like their Crafts & Drafts Passport.
