COLORADO SPRINGS — Thanks to the generosity of our community, the KOAA5 – Care and Share Drive was a success!
In one day, you donated over $41,000 to feed your friends and neighbors in need. That money translates into tens of thousands of meals and will go a long way in helping people through these tough times.
The need for food is critical with so many people out of work. In response, KOAA News5 and the Scripps Howard Foundation donated $12,000 to Care and Share Food Bank.

“Care and Share is a vital part in the framework of our community. Our community recognizes that and stepped up during this time of need to make sure that Southern Coloradans do not go hungry.
