HANOVER — The water has dried up but the damage remains to El Rocio View in the Rancho Colorado subdivision near the county line.
The dirt road is the only access point for about 100 homeowners who live in Midway Ranches on the Pueblo County side of the border.
Heavy rains Friday night washed out about a lane's worth of road base. The road is not publicly maintained.
Barriers have been lifted so that residents could leave their properties. Emergency officials tell us they are keeping a close eye on conditions Saturday.
