EL PASO COUNTY — The North Pole, home of Santa's Workshop in El Paso County had a limited reopening Saturday after getting approval from state and local health departments.
The slide, sky ride, zip line, and train were all allowed to open.
Masks are required for everyone age 11 and up inside buildings. That includes the front gate, shops, while ordering food, and while visiting Santa.
Although it's not a full opening, managers said they are happy to finally be welcoming guests again.
"Thank you for the support through this time. We're really humbled by the amount of love and support both locally but across the country as well," Manager Austin Lawthorn said.
The village is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission for shopping, dining, and visiting Santa is free. Unlimited ride wrist bands are $10 per person.
