COLORADO SPRINGS — A special reunion happened Sunday in Colorado Springs.
Families with kids who spent time in intesive care got to meet up with the doctors and nurses who took care of them.
Hundreds of folks showed up for the event at Venezia Park. Kids enjoyed games, face painting, and all sorts of fun.
Parents said it was great to reconnect with others who went through similar experiences.
"It's kind of nice to meet with some friends and just see those people who did care for your friends for so long. It's really neat," said parent, Niki Wilson.
This was the 38th "NICU Reunion."
