DENVER — The Denver Broncos officially welcomed media to Empower Field at Mile High on Thursday.
Empower is a retirement planning company based in Greenwood Village.
Broncos president and CEO Joe Ellis says the deal isn't just about the name, it's all business.
"Their substantial commitment over the next 21 years allows us to keep this building modernized whether its in the form of maintenance or capital improvements. Its not the full solution but its part of it and that's important," Ellis said.
The naming rights deal will run through 2039 and is worth roughly $125 to $130 million.
