PUEBLO — Artists in Pueblo are attempting to create the world's largest continuous painting, again.
The Arkansas River levee mural once held that record but was torn down when upgrades were made to the levee.
Artists have once again been given the go-ahead to paint new murals on the levee.
One of the project's organizers said she hopes to have the record secured within two years.
"It's insane for me and more insane for them because every person I talk to is already thinking while they are primering what their next piece is," Cynthia Ramu said.
Artists must complete an application to paint on the levee.
