ROCKY FORD — A group in Rocky Ford is giving people a night out at the movies.
The "Small Town Project" is hosting a drive up cinema event this coming Friday night.
They'll be showing "The Sandlot" and it's free for everyone.
The group said they are doing this because the theater is closed and there just isn't much to do during the pandemic.
The event will respect COVID-19 guidance with social distancing.
The movie is scheduled to start around 9 p.m. at the Derby Pit on the Arkansas Valley Fairgrounds.
