EL PASO COUNTY — A motorcyclist has died after a crash Tuesday evening, east of Colorado Springs.
According to State Patrol, a man on a motorcycle was headed southbound on Marksheffel when he lost control of the bike near the intersection with Highway 24.
The man traveled off the roadway and was thrown from the bike. State Patrol said he died on scene.
The man, who has not been identified, was wearing a helmet and other safety gear at the time of the crash.
