MONUMENT — A six-year-old from Monument is the youngest student to receive a First Degree Black Belt at the US Taekwondo Center.

Sabrina Yu has been training in the discipline since she was three and a half.

She tested for her Black Belt with 36 other candidates whose ages ranged from six to 64.

"I think she is fairly advanced for her age group. She is the youngest. I believe it's been official, she will be the youngest First-Degree Black Belt candidate at USTC," .... said.

Sabrina joins her 11-year-old sister and her mother as Black Belts. They received their belts earlier this year.
