PUEBLO — There was a fight for a good cause Saturday night at Jackson's MMA in Pueblo.
The gym hosted a 10-bout event with some of the proceeds going toward its youth scholarship fund.
This was the fourth Fight Night hosted by the gym and owner Jason Casados said the scholarship program isn't just about learning the sport.
"We like to see report cards, make sure kids are doing good in school, being polite with their parents, and all of those things, because we're really about discipline, self-control, self-defense, and all of those things that come along with martial arts," Casados said.
Casados said he plans to host more fights at his gym, as well as some concerts in the future.
