In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Colorado College hosted an "All Peoples Breakfast" in the Reid Arena at the El Pomar Sports Center at Colorado College.
This breakfast has become an annual tradition, with this year's theme being "Living the Legacy: A Call to Action" and featuring a gospel choir.
Ticket proceeds will go to benefit youth scholarship programs administered by the NAACP and the Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission.
The breakfast was also followed by a march to a rally in Acacia Park.
In Pueblo, a community peace march was held at Rawlings Library, and included a luncheon at the El Pueblo Museum.
Groups from across the state also plan to come together for the Martin Luther King Day Parade at our state's capitol in Denver.
