COLORADO SPRINGS — Saturday evening, the Colorado Springs Police Dept. was notified of an individual who was on the 3rd floor catwalk on the side of the Antlers Hotel parking garage.
CSPD said officers spent about four hours trying to talk the man down from the ledge. They were unsuccessful.
With the assistance of hotel security and the Fort Carson Fire Dept., officers were eventually able to remove the man by utilizing and air cushion and a construction lift, according to police.
The man, identified as Gerald Kimble, was taken to a local hospital for an evaluation.
CSPD said he was also served with a summons for trespassing.
