FREMONT COUNTY — The Fremont County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) announced Tuesday that a man recently jumped from the Royal Gorge Bridge.
FCSO deputies responded to the bridge just before noon on Monday, Aug. 24.
Security footage and eyewitnesses confirmed that a man had in fact jumped from the bridge, the FCSO said.
Human remains were later found near the river and railroad tracks at the bottom of the gorge.
The FCSO said their investigation continues. No further information is available at this time.
