Man in custody for allegedly robbing a Subway twice

FOUNTAIN — A man is in custody for allegedly robbing a Subway sandwich shop at two different times, according to the Fountain Police Department.

This happened on January 20 and February 10 at the Subway on 6871 Mesa Ridge Parkway.

At the time of both robberies, police said there was limited suspect information to provide to the public for their assistance.

On February 10, with the help of the Colorado Department of Corrections, 29-year-old Ean Meadows, was contacted on an unrelated investigation. According to Fountain police, during that investigation, evidence was found linking Meadows to both Subway robberies.

Meadows was taken into custody and is currently being held at CJC on a parole violation. Charges are still pending related to both robberies.
