PUEBLO — Pueblo police said they're searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing Thursday morning near the state fairgrounds.
Police said the suspect stabbed a 34-year-old man several times around 11 a.m. behind a business in the 1100 block of S. Prairie Ave. That's near the intersection of Prairie and Amherst. The man suffered serious injuries, and he was taken to the hospital in critical condition Thursday afternoon.
Police said they're looking for a dark-skinned Hispanic or black male, who's about 5’8 with a thin build and short hair with a beard. They said he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the stabbing, and he left the scene on a maroon bicycle with the word "NEXT" in white letters on it.
