COLORADO SPRINGS — A local business is giving back to our frontline workers with a sweet treat!
From now until Christmas, Josh and John's Ice Cream is offering customers the chance to buy $5 gift certificates for the men and women helping fight the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.
News5 was told the gift certificates will be delivered to different hospitals on Christmas day. The ice cream shop owner says that the dedication of health care workers has kept his business open and he wants to give something back.
"I don't think that we can be appreciative enough for what these people are doing," said John Krakauer, Owner of Josh and John's Ice Cream. "They go out every day and risk their lives to keep us healthy and I think it's important that we give back to these people as best we can."
