Local business in Rye honors high school seniors

RYE — Ace Hardware near Rye, CO is honoring seniors at Rye High School after their senior year for was cut short due to COVID-19.

Seniors at RHS have had sports, in-person learning and other spring activities canceled due to the virus.

The local store wanted to do something to honor those graduating seniors by making a sign for every in the class of 2020.

"It's really cool, it's a really nice gesture," explained Riley Prichard, a senior graduating from Rye High School. "Our class has been working hard all year. (We have) missed out on sports and the year was pretty much cut short, but I think this is a really cool gesture. it shows the support of the community and Ace and everybody just how much they love our class."
