PUEBLO — Pueblo law enforcement agencies want a memorial to remember the officers, deputies, and troopers who died in the line of duty.

Pueblo Police, the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, and State Patrol want to build a fallen officer's memorial on the Pueblo Riverwalk.

"They certainly have family members. This will give them a place to come and grieve and reflect on their loved ones and maybe an opportunity for our community to support law enforcement and realize the sacrifices these folks made," Pueblo Police Chief Troy Davenport said.

The project would cost about $250,000 and would come from private funds.
