LAS ANIMAS COUNTY — Las Animas County Clerk Patricia Vigil, who goes by the name "Peach", is being held on no bond and facing domestic violence charges.

News 5 has confirmed this is her second arrest this month.

She was booked by Castle Rock Police for DUI and careless driving on January 8.

She was arrested Thursday morning by Trinidad Police.

Police said early Thursday morning, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence. Several parties were involved in an argument, one being Patricia Vigil, and officers attempted to calm everyone down.

Vigil elbowed another person directly in front of the officers and was taken into custody for Harassment and Domestic Violence, according to Trinidad Police.

Alcohol was involved and she was taken to a detox facility before being taken to the Las Animas County Jail.
