COLORADO SPRINGS — As of 2 p.m. Thursday July 2nd, KOAA's Woodland Park translator is back up and running.

Viewers in Woodland Park can once again enjoy KOAA5 programming. To make sure you receive the best signal, please do a rescan or autotune on your TV receiver. The signal should become available once again after this reset.

Back in May, KOAA had gathered data that indicated an interference with the air signal in Woodland Park.

KOAA had received reports of Woodland Park signal experiencing transmission issues. After gathering data and doing some research on May 13, KOAA found a new translator on the same tower that was interfering with the reception of KOAA at Woodland Park. The transmitter is legal, but was overpowering the reception of the KOAA signal.

KOAA's engineering team has since fixed this issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding. KOAA appreciates all viewers and are excited to be back in Woodland Park.
