PUEBLO — The holiday season is starting to get a little bit sweet in Pueblo.
It's Potica season for the county.
Mauro Farms on the mesa is one of the places that gets into the season with this regional favorite. The bakery manager said they send the nut roll all over the US.
"It is the end of a great year. I enjoy baking, so for us it is always fun to do all the baking and then watch everybody come in and get what they need for the holidays," bakery manager, Carla Houghton said.
Houghton said they make about 10,000 loaves of Potica this time of year.
