COLORADO SPRINGS — Volunteers helped spread the love Dr. King taught by working at Care and Share on Monday.
160 volunteers contributed a total of 480 hours during their MLK Day of Service.
A lot of the folks helping out said it's what Dr. King would have wanted.
The unity, definitely coming together in this time. Building community is more important now than ever," said volunteer, Kate Nicely.
This was the tenth year the food bank hosted the event.
